The title is an observation not an insult.
What is it about Bernie Sanders that gives him the benefit of the doubt of meaning well? That “Old-Man” quality?
There is a much repeated sentiment about the man that he cares. Supporters and detractors alike have said ‘I may not agree with all he says but at least he cares.’ What about him gives off a sense of passion?
I will admit he has accurately pointed out certain issues in society… but
There is the issue of Democratic Socialism. Sure it’s prefaced with ‘Democratic,’ but what is the difference? Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the DNC Chair didn’t give a distinction. What keeps it from becoming socialism and leading to communism? I have no clue.
If whatever campaign apparatus Donald Trump has, re-tweets a quote attributed to some fascist leader from the 40’s somehow indicts Trump as a fascist. Can the same unreasonableness be used to tie Bernie to the leader of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, more commonly known as the NAZI party.
Now, now, now, I think most of the campaign teams are aware of this. The Main Stream Media have brought WW2 into play, but I cannot imagine them willingly pointing out this correlation. In the very least, some people with access to the inter-webs will make the connection.
It is quite banal to do. That being said let’s go down that road of triteness.
“He alone who gains the youth, owns the future”
Bernie is polling well with the Youth. He clearly is taking a page out of his fellow socialist. He is clearly a Nazi.
“I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator.”
Believe you are doing gods work? Clearly sympathetic to Hitler. NAZI
Oh but Bernie Sanders is Jewish and surely Hitler was not a god fearing man, let alone a Christian!
Well, Bernie Sanders has said of his religious influences that he is “very close to the teachings of Pope Francis,” and he described the pope as “incredibly smart and brave.”
Pope Francis said this some weeks back. “A person who thinks only of building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, isn’t Christian.”
Now back to Hitler.
“Words build bridges into unexplored regions.”
Nazis. The lot of them.
“The doom of a nation can be averted only by a storm of flowing passion, but only those who are passionate themselves can arouse passion in others.”

- Godwin’s Law : From Usenet but has become quite common. “As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.” … whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress.
