Reparations Signal Virtue

‘Reparations’ Site Invites White People To Give Free Stuff To Minorities

“” is a website that takes the principles of crowdsourcing and applies them to white liberal guilt. It invites minorities to request free stuff — ranging from favours and “emotional support” to money. It then invites white people (or “people who identify as white,” to use the website’s definition) to provide them.

I can entirely support reparations if done privately. Avoiding governments  removes the force inherent in taxation. In a related question can you provide reasons for why reparations should be demanded from ‘Whites’ to ‘Blacks’ whereas the Africans that captured and sold the slaves to the white traders are not? Or the Blacks in North America that owned slaves? Or North African and Middle Eastern people for the eastern slave-trade? Or for those currently taking part in slavery?

If you could universalize it then you’d possibly know exactly who descends from a slave trader. You could also know who descends from those that fought against and in some cases died to abolish it. Would they be exempt or actually in a position of getting some ‘thanks’ from descendants of freed slaves?

If it is a family that once owned and traded slaves, but then had some child rebel against them and fight to abolish it, would that cancel out?

Anyway, virtue signal away.
