Pinker & McDonald on Hateful Speech | Links I Like

In todays Links I Like  post, PhilosophyInsights brings a clip of Steven Arthur Pinker (one of my favorite people ever!) and Heather Lynn McDonald  taking questions from students at Kenyon College.

Howard Dean was there for some reason too.

Steven Arthur Pinker (born September 18, 1954) is a Canadian-born American cognitive scientist, psychologist, linguist, and popular science author. He is Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, and is known for his advocacy of evolutionary psychology and the computational theory of mind.

Heather Lynn Mac Donald (born 1956) is an American political commentator, essayist, attorney and journalist. She is described as a secular conservative. She is a Thomas W. Smith Fellow of the Manhattan Institute.

Also Anarchy ≠ Chaos.
