These are one of those ‘you don’t say’ sort of things that may need to be said for some? I just find it hard to believe anyone paying attention to NPR for the last decade could have been under the illusion that it was even and not biased. Already posted about how this went to Uri stepping down during a Cristofer F Rufo exposing the CEOs previous… I do’t want to say thoughts because I really do not think they truly believe what they say is true but rather believe it was the script to advance career and maintains tatus. Which form looking at the career was not illogical from their part.
Sure there is a stronger regressive tone to it pot the unprecedented presidency of Trump, but he only accelerated what was going on enough for it to be highlighted rather than was a cause of what sort of people would staff the very sort of organization that National Public Radio was made to be, is and intends to become.
Thought it may have been kinda kewl the guy still works there. May have been ‘a we are bad but i’ll stay and fight for within.’ Or we are bad and since I am saying it you can trust us more to not be as bad anymore? HE is out now, can cash in as an independent or join other established alternative platforms.

When it comes ot someone like current Whitehouse spokesperson for the Biden administration, Karine Jean Pierre, you know she is around power but not involved in actually deciding what to do wiht power. SHe is clearly reading a script. She was clearly selected not for an ability to weild power, but simply to voice power. A figurative Mouth of Sauron style ending would be in hand if she ever actually was involved in actual battles between powerful people.
You do nto expect what she says to be ‘true’ but rather just as close to what those in power truly want us to know or think. One may hope that at least those who she speaks for, know better. Can do better. Are better people. Increasingly seems like it is not the case. This is literally the best they can do. Good thing though we can get by despite their machinations in most cases. Because people better than them don’t exactly just sit back silent.

Good explanations here that fit some things like that Benghazi CIA activity being the actual reason for Libya debacle. Here is his website Sonar 21. If the actual intention was peace. or post the actual war some sort of defeat of Russia with Ukraine successfully getting land back then joining NATO those in charge would have talked to people like Johnson. It is possibly to come to the same conclusions and make similar projections with the information readily available to the Alex and Alexander, plus I imagine those in the west have access to even more contacts and info which the Alexes occasionally say they can not mention.
With this in mind, they could just be totes incompetent, or have other goals in mind. (could be both too)
understanding ivory towers through exploring medieval castles
Was listening to this when the power went off, so looked for something else on my phone for workout audio. Got to something about greek Myth. In that they spoke about how myths will differ from author to author, source to source but still be okay. Then thought of how people like Shadiversity are debunking misconceptions we have not only about about things we don’t even still use like castles but things that reinforce the ivory towers that the Eleterati class live in. Those who pine for times when they could control ’truth.’ Then how we also have the regressives who pine for a time when they could jsut safely live around the ivory towered castle and be protected by and provided for by the benevolent eliterati within from the real or perceived hardships of having to be outside the gates fending for themselves.
We do not all have the desire let alone ability Shadiversity has to go see these castles by ourself, but am so glad to live in a time when we can come closer to kenning what the ACTUAL single truth about things is than I historically know of.
